Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons each: cumin and fennel seeds

  • 2 inch piece of fresh ginger (do not use dried ginger), sliced in half

  • 1 pint (500 ml) pure water

Preparation

  1. Combine all ingredients in a small pot and bring to a gentle boil over medium heat. Reduce to low and simmer, covered, for 15 minutes.

  2. Strain into a tea cup or mug.

  3. To serve: enjoy 1 cup (or more) a few times daily with a green smoothie for digestive support.
