After spending several months leaving the books and lectures put away, I realized the problem wasn’t the herbs or remedies I came up with but an essential piece of wisdom that I had completed ignored.
Not only did I ignore it, actually, I scoffed at it. I totally dismissed it and refused to follow it.
But, finally I realized, the ancients definitely know more about holistic healing than I do. I just needed to open my mind, get curious, and be patient.
And that’s when I figured out what my next step was. And it was the very thing I had shut the book on.

The naturopathic doctor had said it. The 4th generational herbalist with a PhD said it. All the master herbalists said it, and the midwives too.
